Product Profile: Fastlane Glassgate 300

The Glassgate 300, winner of the Good Design Award in 2013, is one of our best-selling products. Featuring a microcontroller capable of handling up to 10 million decisions a second, it is the knowledge gained through this technology which enables our turnstiles to be 'opinion-forming' – vital in being able to distinguish between a pedestrian with pull-along luggage and someone attempting to tailgate.

Utilising the latest multi beam infrared technology to detect unauthorised users, the Speedgate deters tailgating and detects unauthorised access events.

Available as a standard product, but also capable of seamless integration with access control, biometric identification technologies, CCTV and whole building management systems, the Glassgate 300 is suitable for many higher security applications, including border control.

The Glassgate 300 also features Fastlane Connect, the ethernet connectability programme from IDL, which allows a fast and secure way to monitor and manage entrance control operation remotely, whether this is onsite or from any location globally, via a secure web-based portal.

Available in four different heights and with an optional locking brake, the glass barriers on the Glassgate 300 provide a clear deterrent for unauthorised users and ensure that they can’t be pushed open when in a ‘closed’ mode. Despite providing a physical and psychological deterrent, the Glassgate 300 maintains sleek and streamlined styling which is vital to satisfy the design needs of our architect customers.  The enclosure is supplied using 304 stainless steel, with a horizontal brushed finish and options for other materials on request. Black Quartz Corian inserts on the tops facilitate concealed or surface mounted access control card readers.

You can see the Glassgate 300 in action at IFSEC – 20-22 June 2017, Excel London - where we’ll be demonstrating a standard unit and a unit featuring an integration with FaceSentinel, Aurora’s facial recognition system, designed for applications where the highest levels of security and reliability are demanded, such as border control at airports.
